Yes it’s me – your friendly neighbourhood Wooly D – back from the grave to spread the word of FVK to any who dare to listen.
As you may well have seen, last week we announced our first headline tour of 2014 THE CABIN FEVER UK TOUR which we shall be embarking on with our buddies Dead! in April. Shall we take a look the poster for a second?
Anyway, we’re hitting the road again, playing largely smaller venues than we normally would (and yes, that was an intentional oxymoron) keeping things nice and intimate and, judging by the warm-up shows we’ve just played, that’s going to make these pretty special.
So, with that in mind we thought it’d be interesting to open the floor to you guys and have you be apart of the most essential part of the tour – the setlist. Normally, we put together a setlist for a tour or too based on what we think will work well together, what sounds exciting live and of course what we want to play ourselves. But here’s a chance for you help shape the experience and get us to dust off some of those raw gems, those hidden album tracks, lost songs and covers that we never think to play.
To get involved all you need to do is send you suggestions here:
Then, when voting closes on 24th March, we will narrow it down to a list of the most popular tracks that you’ll then be able to vote for to be included in the set for your local show. So it could end up being the same songs every night, or we might have a nice variation from town to town – who knows?! I’m intrigued to see what happens, so please get involved as that will ensure that each show is special in its own way.
Finally just a quick thank you to everyone who came out to any of the warm-up shows or Takedown we had an amazing time getting back onstage and doing what we love doing. We hope you guys had as much fun as we did, and enjoyed the sneak peak of what we’ve been working on too!
Any friends in the north (or any southerners who are prone to a good roadtrip) can see us next at Radstock play with the likes of LostAlone and Yashin in Newcastle on the 29th March and Liverpool on the 30th March.

That’s all for now but keep your eyes peeled for more soon,
