Evening y’all 😉
Firstly, THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH for your birthday wishes!!! I think I heard Drew say cheers as well 😉
We’ve both had a wicked day!
And I’ll tell you for why…
We Fearless Vampire Killers have travelled to our home town of Beccles this weekend for fun times and celebrations.
Which is actually why this blog is up so late. I’m currently in the middle of a field searching for signal so that i can transmit my two pennies worth…one of the joys of living in the Waveney Valley I guess :p
Admittedly I gave up when I heard the riffs of Mastodon coming from a nearby, converted farmhouse. I couldn’t resist sneaking up to the glowing panes, of what i could only assume was the living room window, to see Jools Holland being torn to shreds by heavy-metal distortion on a small, fuzzy television. Who’d have thought a regular sized man could contain so much of the red stuff.
Anyway moving on… this Halloween we’re going to raise our fist in the air for the Beccles Ghost Walk. Beccles has quite a history when it comes to the paranormal and this terrifying stroll through the town will educate you on the twisted pasts of the residents and local haunts whilst scaring the face right off your skull. The Excursion is organised by Beccles’ very own supernatural ladies (including Kier’s Nan) and if you ask them nicely they might show you how you can endure the surviving curses.
Oh yes, you need to be in the know ’round these parts, trust me.
So many nights I’ve had to walk back home through empty fields in the pitch black with only a bicycle light to see by.
And I tell you, if I didn’t have the know-how… I might not be writing this now
So here’s to scary walks 🙂
